Iseli Farm
To start the day, I will take you to Ferme Iseli, a family run farm where passion for the land is truly a way of life.
After a brilliant career at EPFL, Isabelle Iseli chose to follow her heart and devote herself to farming. Today, the whole family is involved: Franches Montagnes horses, cows, woolly pigs… each one has its place in a living and respectful ecosystem.
You will have the chance to get your hands in the dough, make your own artisanal bread and leave with a creation that is all yours, infused with the air of Gros de Vaud.

AstroVal
After this grounding experience, it’s time to look to the stars… or rather, to the Sun.
We will first share a friendly meal, sometimes a fondue at the AstroVal Observatory, sometimes in Combières, where one of the hosts is also a craft brewer.
Once satisfied, it’s time for wonder: you will observe the Sun through specialized instruments, discovering its sunspots, flares, and all the magic of our star. All of this in a beautiful natural setting in the Vallée de Joux..
Pré de Bière Mountain pasture
We will continue our journey toward the mountain pasture of Pré de Bière, one of the largest in Switzerland.
Here, time feels suspended. You will meet the herdsmen, discover where the alpine cheese is made, and let yourself be carried by the vastness of the high pastures and forests.
Between age old traditions and breathtaking landscapes, each step will reconnect you with the greatness of nature.


Chez Sisao
To end this beautiful day, we will stop at Sisao, a committed artisan chocolatier.
In his workshop, you will discover how his fine chocolates are created, with respect for both the cacao and the producers around the world.
Treat yourself to a delicious tasting, a final sweet and refined moment before heading back, with a light heart and delighted taste buds.
